Message From Our Board of Directors
The mission of the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life of Southern California is to revitalize the relationship between Judaism, environmental stewardship and the Jewish community.
We focus our efforts on education, outreach and fostering collaboration. We aim to bring the organized Jewish community, environmental community, and the unaffiliated Jewish community together through a shared sense of environmental justice, tikkun olam and Jewish tradition. This is accomplished through our Annual CoejlSC Retreat, Annual Environmental Leadership Award and the co- sponsorship of programming through our participating organizations.
